Résumé
A European identity rooted in shared belonging is no longer a distant ideal but an urgent necessity. In an era of growing populism and fragmented narratives across the continent, how we remember our past increasingly shapes the Europe we strive to build. Yet recent shifts in commemorative practices have complicated this goal, raising fundamental questions: Who gets remembered, and how? More crucially, what kind of Europe does that memory construct?
